Music Production and Digital Recording Lessons Miami
Many musicians and freelance audio engineers are recording, mixing and mastering music in a homebuilt or portable project studio, leaving the expense of renting studio-time behind. This has been the case since the advent of personal computers coupled with the accessibility of pro-grade music production software and hardware to the average consumer. This class focuses on the fundamentals of music production including a study of the physical nature of sound, psychoacoustics (how humans perceive sound), constructing a project studio around a digital audio workstation, microphones, speakers, signal processing, rudiments of digital audio theory, and MIDI (for creating music with software instruments). As a result, SAM’s music production lessons and digital recording lessons will provide students with the knowledge they need to build a competitive base for further experimentation and study. Students may take private lessons for 1-hour or 30 minutes per week.
